Dr. Shammi Garg finished his graduation (B.D.S.) from Manipal college of Dental sciences, Mangalore in 2001 and completed his post graduation (M.D.S.) in Orthodontics from prestigious Moscow state university of medicine and dentistry, Moscow in year 2005. Along with conventional edgewise, PAE (straight wire technique) and functional appliances, He learnt clear aligner set ups under famous orthodontists of Eastern Europe Dr. Vacili Mikhyevich Mathveev and Dr. Kuznitsova Galina Victrovna during his post-graduation time. Since 2005 his team of doctors running busy Orthodontic practice in Ludhiana, Punjab. As He had keen interest in clear aligners set ups He continued his work even in private practice and finished many cases with clear aligner set ups (i.e. without any kind of braces and wiring). In year 2009, he did advanced course in clear aligners from Iserlohn, Frankfurt, Germany under Dr Kims, master orthotechnician Peter steward, where he learnt role of softwares and multiple attachments on teeth and clear aligner splints to make the treatment fast and more efficient and to solve more complicated cases.He is member of European Orthodontic society(UK) & Indian Orthodontic Society .

As clear aligner demand is increasing day by day in modern orthodontic era. So, recently he has started conducting clear aligner courses for orthodontic practitioners where any orthodontist can start making clear aligners at his own office with his own treatment plan.
